Travel-Obsessed Influencer Tanya Valente Shares her Must-see Destinations
If you're like us, you spend much of your waking hours daydreaming about your next getaway, trolling through your Instagram feed for some good inspiration, and liking countless photos from your favourite pages.
Enter: Tanya Valente. Right away we felt like kindred spirits with this woman. We follow the same travel inspo feeds and her photos remind us of best times had with friends and family while travelling. Needless to say, we had to reach out to her to find out more. Find a bit more about what makes her unique below.
Where do you pull your inspiration from to create content?
I'm always shooting as I go, trying to stay in the moment - but I love looking to other travel bloggers for inspiration! Shout out to @gypsea_lust for her awesome feed.
In a world so saturated with travel sites, explorations, and images, how do you keep your Instafeed fresh?
I try to create my own style through my editing, it's probably the easiest way to stand out!
If you could describe yourself in 3 words what would they be?
Spontaneous. Creative. Adventure-seeker.
Where has been your favourite travel destination and why?
Europe will always have my heart! Every country is so different - I love that you can be on the Black Sand Beach of Santorini one day and walk the canals of Amsterdam the next.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to share their own creative voice but is not sure where to start?
Just do it. I find that many people are afraid to share their creative voice because they're afraid of what people will think or say. But once you overcome that, you'll be happy you did.
Has there ever been another place in the world you've visited that felt like home to you? If so, where?
My mothers family lives in Sicily, Italy and when I was younger we visited for 5 weeks. I haven't been back since, but I have been to Italy a few other times and that country is where I get the most sense of home.
Where is one place that you've been that people have to add to their bucket list?
Hands down, Cinque Terre! It's comprised of five small towns on the coast of Italy and I promise you won't regret it after you see it!
What other projects are you working on in the coming months?
I always said that by the time I am 25 I want to have visited 25 countries. I am currently 24 and have visited 23 - so, looks like I have some planning to do!
